Joyful Sobriety

In this cold and uncertain world a vibrant family of Christians assembles at the Reformation Bible Church—an oasis for the life-worn, sin-wrecked soul. From their midst Christ Jesus calls, “Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest” (Matthew 11:28).

With rousing song, earnest prayer and joyful sobriety they worship Jesus Christ, desiring that He be preeminent. They hear His Word preached and His saving mercy proclaimed, and they yearn to be faithful to Him.

While many churches adopt the trademarks of a Christ-rejecting culture as bait to attract the unconverted, this assembly resists secularizing the sacred. Christ’s church has survived by being “the salt of the earth,” distinctive from this world-system rather than a reflection of it. Indeed, Christ’s church progresses by its uniqueness and its most effective days have been when it was in greatest contrast to this world.

You are invited to partake of the warmth and blessing God has granted to this fellowship of Christians. Join with a blessed assembly that seeks to honor its Savior. “Let us go forth therefore unto him without the camp, bearing his reproach” (Heb. 13:13).
